Why we price per editor, not per viewer

Viewers and commenters are free on every plan. Here’s the reasoning, and the numbers behind it.

Every DrumKit plan charges for editors and never for viewers. A product manager who only comments, a developer who only inspects, a client who only looks: all free, on every plan.

We did it because charging for viewers made our customers ration access, and a design nobody can see is a design nobody improves. Revenue per team went up, not down, because teams that share more grow more.
