What is wireframing?
Introduction to wireframing and its principles. Learn from the best in the industry.

A wireframe is a sketch of a screen with the decoration taken out: boxes for content, lines for text and labels for actions. It exists to settle what goes where before anyone argues about colour.
In DrumKit we wireframe with the real components set to a grey theme. It is as fast as drawing boxes, and when the layout is agreed, switching the theme back turns the wireframe into the first real design.
